Collection of Voluntarily-Provided Information We collect Personal Information that our users provide to us in a variety of ways on our Service. These include the following: User Accounts and Profiles. Our Service gives you the ability to register for an InYourEcosystem account (or to use school-provided credentials to log into the Service) and to create and update a user profile on the Service. We collect the Personal Information that you provide to us in the course of registering for an account and creating or updating a user profile. This information may include, for example, name, e-mail address, school, department/major, class year, and other demographic information about you. We may indicate that some personal information is required, while some is optional. Interactive Features. Our Service contains interactive functionality that allows you to engage with other users on the Service, to post comments to forums, to participate in surveys, to post, display, or otherwise make available course-related materials or other information, comments photos, data, software, sounds, images, videos, messages, tags, or other materials (the "User Materials"), and otherwise to interact with the Service and with other users. If you use any interactive functionality on our Service that request or permit you to provide us with personal information (including, for example, any functionality that allows you to post User Materials on our Service), we collect the Personal Information that you provide to us in the course of using these interactive features. Passive Information Collection  When you visit our Service, some information is collected automatically. Children Children’s safety is important to us, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active interest in the online activities of their children.
